EGHO is a registered charity based in the UK, committed to the development and maintenance of relieving sickness, preserving health and advancing health and social education.

EGHO works primarily to benefit the people of Kenya by working directly with healthcare providers to identify the areas where we can maximise our efforts.

Within the UK, the charity works hard to raise the level of awareness with regards to health inequalities in the developing world.

EGHO oversees several projects which include but are not limited to:

  • Kenya Orthopaedic Project
  • Rural Clinics
  • Team Talk

The projects are aligned with those recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as priority areas:

  • Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery
  • Introduction of strategies across hospitals to increase patient safety
  • Support and development of rural health centres
  • Community health and education
  • Development of in-hospital training
  • Rural clinics in community settings

We rely on volunteers that give up their time, raise awareness and donate money to help us achieve our goals. If you would like to support our organisation please click on the DONATE button.
